GroupLink

This 45-minute interactive event will connect you with others in your area of town and stage of life to form a Community Group.

When and where is GroupLink?

Grace Community’s Grouplink begins at 11:45am (immediately following the 10:30am service) in the Grace Community sanctuary and will take less than 45 minutes.

What happens at GroupLink?

You will have the opportunity to meet with other people in your stage of life and area of town. After meeting with the other people in your area of town and stage of life, we will form groups. You will watch a short video together and then time will be provided for you to get to know the people in your newly formed group.

Am I expected to Join a Community Group if I attend GroupLink?

The purpose of Grouplink is to link people desiring a group into a group. However, you can come and simply consider the group experience. This will be a good time for you to meet people who are joining and forming groups, as well as gain a fuller understanding of the Grace Community group experience (both what it is and what it is not). So if you are not sure if you want to join a group, but would like to know more about Community Groups then Grouplink is an ideal event for you to attend. There is no pressure to join a group at Grouplink, just the opportunity.

What is the difference between GroupLink and a Community Group?

You go to GroupLink, a one time event, to join a Community Group. Community Groups are small groups of married couples or individuals of the same gender that meet weekly in someone’s home for fellowship, Word-Share-Prayer, and regularly engage in acts of service or just have fun together.

Should I register for GroupLink?

Yes. This will allow us to better prepare GroupLink for you. You can register using the form at the bottom of this page.

Is childcare available during GroupLink?

Yes, please request childcare when registering for GroupLink using the form below.

Can I join an existing Community Group?

We believe, for life change to happen in a small group, there needs to be a predictable environment. This happens best when you have the same group of people meeting over a long period of time. If an existing Community Group does not have more than 12 people, then you are free to join an existing group. Once a group reaches 12 people, it is time to consider splitting into two groups and growing again.

What if I can’t make it to GroupLink?
